Machinedrum older OS

are these available anywhere?

just reading ancient posts about an OS that had lfo to midi enabled.

any long time MD user care to shed light on what i’d lose and bugs i’d gain by downgrading to the OS that supports this.
and indeed what version numbers this revolves around.

i’m aware of LFO to CTR8P for note data, but am not aware of a workaround for LFO to the CC value, maybe there is one.

probably downgrading is ill advised so would like to know any experiences.
i have an MD mk1 UW

I thought only mk2 were UW… Was I wrong ?

yes.

i know i can p lock CC values, but due to how i’m setup am interested in this downgrade opportunity.

Only mk2 has the + drive. But there was a UW model made after the MK1 came out but before mk 2

scrap this thread.

i didn’t play a note on the midi track to trigger the cc.

Confirmed I have an MKI MDUW non plusDrive. but in the case for the OS i didnt have info about it i just have the older OS, but want to check this

I think i have 1.0, 1.5 and the last 1.63, do you have a clue about what version have this feature?

Last version has this feature.

You have to use the 8P machine assigned to a cc, an lfo, and trigger a midi note (velocity 0) on relevant track.

Sorry for time wasting nauts
