You totally should contact elektron if they want to sell the MD with custom faceplate option from their shop or something like this.
I think this looks stunning and way more durable than the original one.
Do you do mk1 faceplates aswell ?

We are actually hoping Elektron takes notice (in a positive light of course), there are some many ideas brewing but it all requires $$$ to bring products/services to market

Why is that you used silver screws (i can see they are original md ones) instead of black, are they not available?

We believe in K.I.S.S (KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID) keeps our cost down and those saving we can pass on to our customers we want to keep things as simple as possible (you can’t imagine the time and effort that has gone into sourcing our windows, panels etc.)
The average person can do a pretty good job painting buttons , screws etc. Panels, chassis and silkscreening require a bit more skill so we focus our energies on those needs and for now will continue to use the original screws.

In addition to this very nice ‘inverted color’ version, do you foreseen a second variant of the front plate with text/labels following the A4/AK/AR look ? I mean like the unframed labels, the small red bar before the word Function, or the smaller logo on the A4, etc…

I agree it would be nice to have a MD faceplate with the same look, finish, and design elements of the newer machines… matte black with screening.
