Loopcloud vs. Samplism

Hey,

I know there is an integration with Digitakt. But I am mainly an Octatrack user. I have thousands of samples that I have bought over the years. They aren’t mainly Loopmasters though.

I have tried the app Samplism to manage samples (Lite) and like it.

Yet I would still ask those who have used both: which is better?

I would mostly sort and categorize and ofc transfer to the CF card. Not intending to buy too much sound packs from Loopmasters.

Does really Loopcloud worth due to it’s functions?
Or a one time purchase for Samplism for 60ish dollars and that’s all?

Thanks!

I bought samplism and while it is good, I’m pretty sure it is mainly sorting sounds by the names and meta data. I have a lot of samples and found it not that helpful at doing a complete organisation.

I haven’t tried the loopmasters one.

i have tons of Loopmaster samples. I just download the folder of wav files and move it into the AUDIO folder of the OT. So if I have some chillwave or trap samples from LM, i just then browse to the Chillwave or Trap folder and use that LM file structure from there to find what I need.
