Loop Function set to Off after Playback+Clear?

Does anybody know if there is a way to make is so that the Loop-setting, when you double tap the playback button, isn’t automatically set to Auto but rather to Off when you reset the playback page by hitting Playback+Clear?

What does Auto mean anyway? How is it different to On?

AUTO means the machine looks at the setting made in the AudioEditor
