I’m wondering if there are any other people here that work in video post production - editing, color correction, motion graphics, audio post, etc. I’m finishing up a program in the field at UCLA and looking to connect with some folks. Anyone here in that field and want to chat and share tips / histories?

what does the knowledge basement of an actual ucla postprodction degree look like…sound like…these days ? 
Yes, I realize this is an audio-centric place 
But there is some cross-over in people that do both and I know a lot of editors that started out as musicians.
Not sure what you mean by your question, but I studied all of the above topics, basically every aspect of post production, which encompasses both audio and video. I’d say both are equally important in post production. Bad audio is one of the worst sins you can make in working in pro video stuff.
