Looking for "simple"samples

Hi I just got into the Octatrack and I am looking for something outside of Loopmasters category- no loops, no pre-made melody patterns or genre presets. I am looking for simple samples of vintage and modern synths, live instruments and effects, animal and nature sounds and cinematic effects. I think I found maybe two libraries on Loopmasters and most of the package still consisted of melodies and drum loops and effects and sounds were only a limited addition so paying $40 seemed too much.

Zero interest in premade ‘loops’ too … tbh, google is your friend, i’ve picked up plenty free drum hits , as a first port of call check out the stuff that musicradar give free every month, there’s an archive will all sorts, plenty of individual sounds and non musical content, it helps to search for specific things to find the free stuff

Maybe try Puremagnetik, some of their stuff is fairly cheap.
Native Instruments has a lot of cinematic stuff.

As stated, I’d also do a general search for “Free (description as in ‘vintage synths’) Sample packs,” and see what comes up.

Shaman Stems are good for chord stabs, bass shots, etc usually from analog and classic machines. Some are kinda genre specific but there’s a few to choose from - some only cost a fiver.
