Truly (and tragically), a song for the ages. The Lips can really gut punch you with some existential clarity when they want to. The Terror album feels like a thematic progression of Evil Will Prevail. Difficult music for difficult times.

I listened to an interview with Gary Numan when Exile was released he explained that he imagined what it would be like if the whole God - Jesus - concept was actually a clever ruse by some superior evil and wrote an album about it.
