Looking for beta testers for AUv3 based Visual Plugin

Not really looking at a playlist type of app at the moment. But MIDI capabilities is of course something I’ll look into!

Happy to hear your use-cases

My live setup is an Octatrack II + Analog Rytm II + Analog Four II.
I have MIDI output from the Octatrack to my laptop which is running video onto a projector.
The limitation of Synesthesia is that over MIDI it’s not possible to jump to specific Scenes on a playlist. My workaround is limiting but works: I can setup Scene variations (called Presets on Synesthesia) and switch between them using ‘FavSlots’. For each song i will need to select a new Scene (and associated presets & favslots). I am also using MIDI to change elements of the Scene in realtime (such as triggering in time with a kick drum or a bass pattern)

What I would like to be able to do with VFX Live is switch between Presets/Scenes (whatever the taxonomy you use is) so that I can have a radically different video for different sections of a song. And of course change elements of the video (turning layers on/off for example) triggered by MIDI.

I hope that makes sense. Not really a Playlist but rather more macro control to enable more radical changes in the source video for sections of a song.

All right this makes total sense. Thanks for a well written scenario.

Switching presets is kind of seamless right now so I’d just have to add MIDI support for it to work for your needs

If you test it out, please write a line or two on how you like it and if you’re missing any features :relaxed:

Somehow I completely missed the beta announcement. I’ll take a look at this tonight.

Ah. The Beta link doesn’t work - have I missed out?

Congratulations - I spotted the email today and have bought a licence based on the tutorial video. https://rhythmicvisions.io/

Well spotted and thanks for the support! If you have any feedback after noodling around I’m all ears!

Thank you! It was quite some work to push it all the way through. I’m very happy that it’s finally out!
