Looking for a compact string machine

Hi there,

I’m looking for a string machine, to make nice strings / drones (nappes).
Very compact, no too expensive (max 500 euros).

Any ideas ?

Waldorf recently released the Streichfett:

I think it’s a hybrid analogue / digital design. Demos sound pretty good.

Yes i saw a few videos of the Streichfett. Looks cool, and not very expensive. But i was wonderingif there are some other ?
