Yeah, it was. Hopefully his manic energy (and epic modular) makes it onto the stage!

this is fun. i’m looking forward to the first ever Cirklon modular eurovision set. :). and if his setup cacks out on live broadcast how he’ll handle it: crack out the keytar and carry on.

This is brilliant.

Really made me smile when I heard he was doing it.

Ha! Awesome!
I’ve never actually watched Eurovision, but I’ll definitely watch this one.

Now I don’t even want to find out what an embarrassing “as save and boring as possible” artist Germany has chosen once again. How did this UK choice happen?

If UK start bringing real artists to Eurovision, now, let’s be honest: no other country stands a chance.
It feels like cheating.

This actually feels like some kind of crossover of two „franchises“ that live in completely different realities. I kinda like both (LMNC much more than Eurovision) but this is absurdly wild for my brain right now.

this could be great/awful in equal measure for the celebration of live electronic music vs ai and generic pop slop. but seeing how eurovision prides itself on camp pop and dance routines it’ll be interesting watching how this plays out.

the cutaways to sam on the sofa during the voting… awkward as fuck unless he’s got his soldering iron out and is building a synth.

I hope the teletubby tidal wave and furby organ make an appearance.

They did in 1997 with Katrina and the Waves, and won. Then with Engelbert Humperdinck and Bonnie Tyler, who didn’t, among many others. Though define real…

And don’t forget Cliff Richard, although fact-checking myself, I saw it was '73 that he entered when really established. I thought it was much more recent.

That would have been incredible.
