Logic X weirdness

I have RYTM in overbridge mode. I can hear it playing and I can record audio and midi, however if I have the rhythm track selected the audio on the kick drum drops out. if i select a different channel strip then the audio for the drum comes back. If I put headphones on connected directly to the rhythm it still happens so its actually doing something to the machine not just in logic. Any thoughts?

I am running El CRapitan so it may be an issue there.

Overbridge 1.0 plugin doesn’t work properly with Logic or El Cap.

But what you’re describing sounds different - taking it you’re just using the audio over usb functionality without the plugin?

It’s only the kick that’s dropping?

yes its on the kick channel 1

I am not using the over bridge plug in I am just using over bridge mode on the RTYM. Is that setup not working in Capitan?
