Loading +drive sound --> is sample loaded in RAM?

Hi,

I’m learning the ins and outs of the digitakt that I have for a week now, but I am still baffled bij the data-structure. So here’s my question:

If I load a sound from the +drive; is the sample used by that sound then automatically loaded into RAM?

Yes, it will be added to the end of the project ram list.

Or to be more exact, to the next empty slot of the project ram list, which very often happens to be the end, but not always.

So if you have unloaded a sample leaving an empty slot it will fill the first one available?, I had’nt noticed but then I never use the lfo on sample slot.
