Ha. Awesome.

She’s great. I was lucky enough to see her supporting Har Mar Superstar years back… doubt she’ll play such a small venue in the uk again!

Oh wow, that must have been a FUN crowd.

atrocious room treatment for an artist of her calibre! :upside_down_face:

Ha. That’s awesome. (Maybe we are all missing the point with all this “sequencing”. )

Yeah I don’t begin to think anything is recorded or mixed in that room aside from the odd demo.

?

I was poking fun at that sort of snobbery.

No I know. I was just saying that since nothing serious will be recorded there it doesn’t need to be a serious studio. But you’re totally correct.

Yeah, I just imagine artists such as herself have people to do the full mixes for them and her contributions don’t require perfectly tuned environments beyond what’s inspiring for them.

Which drum machine she uses in this announcement is completely irrelevant. If she’d used one of the most derided beat machines of recent years (e.g. Rhythm Akai Wolf?) the result would essentially be the same.

Except that she seems to be able to use those pads fine, despite what I read on here :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yeah yeah, she’s probably got velocity set to full or whatever. Don’t @ me
