How come you are only using 2 channels on the mixer? Seems like a waste when you could maximize it with the outs of the MD and Octatrack…

I prefer to run the MD into a thru machine in Octatrack. Also, when you individually route the MD outputs you lose reverb, delay, compression…
The mixer is mainly there for routing synths etc into Octatrack and inserts/auxes.
When I am recording tracks, every instrument gets it’s own track on the mixer…
