yes Transposing “live” in the sense of Recording into the Recording Buffer of a Flex machine set on a Track and also setting a Playback Trig right before or after (including microtiming to fine tune). You will figure out that only one variant works better for you, that is a playtrig can only play when there is something in the buffer. The pattern length does actually not matter, only that the playtrig will play what the buffer has and for that needs to pass thru the buffer length after the recording head wrote into it. If there is an undesired offset you make nothing wrong, the method always will have latency usually a full Sequence Cycle. Make sure your recording length is what you expect as well (PLEN or 64 or… what you need even shorter). That Playtrig can be pitched or the playrate manipulated, therefore also can generate artifacts on purpose. Be aware that of course this method comes with a character in sound it generates depending on your settings.
In Short: Transposition is basically play RATE manipulation, so you just need something that plays back rather than go “thru”.
