Live Multiple Parameter Changes

Hello fellow Monomachine users. I am new to the delightful synth. However, I cannot figure out if or how you can control the release time on all of the tracks at the same time.

Is this possible?

So, i could have tracks 1,2,3 all playing and it would be so great to adjust parameters at the same time.

Any help would be brilliant!

Have a look at page 43 of the manual, might give you what you’re looking for.

MULTI ENV
The multi envelope is an additional envelope applied to all the tracks in the MULTI TRIG modes excluding the SPLIT mode. You reach it by pressing both the [DATA PAGE] keys simultaneously.
The multi envelope is a standard ADSR envelope that is applied on top of the track enve- lopes, allowing all the tracks to be treated as one massive monophonic track. Note that you will only hear the effects of the multi envelope when sound are played from the multi trig channel, and not from the SPLIT mode.
ATK (attack) dictates the amount of time it take for the audio to rise to full volume after pressing a key.
DEC (decay) sets the time it takes for the sound, after the attack phase, to reach the sus- tain level.
SUS (sustain) is the signal level during the time a key is being held.
REL (release) sets the time it takes for the signal to decay to zero, once the key has been released.(127 means infinite time to decay)

Yes, thanks. I have tried that and it works but you have to be using a sequencer and MIDI channel 7 which is Multi Mode Therefor, I cannot seem to get it to work when using the Monomachines sequencer.

Aslo, for some strange reason, the portamento doesn’t work in this mode for me, but the ADSR all do.

Not in front of my MM so can’t get hands on but you could try routing say Tracks 1-3 out of outputs C&D. Then put a Thru machine on Track 4 fed from outputs C&D.
This should give you a master envelope on Track 4, kinda like sub grouping.

That sounds like a really good option! Thanks. What about exploring the joystick angle? Can that control multiple tracks?

Not really explored the joystick, probably should!
I believe you can assign a different page param to each of the 4 directions, Up Down L&R in the same way you assign an LFO. L&R can be chained also I believe. Only one Param at a time as far as I’m aware, maybe someone else will chime in, will take a look when I get back home.

Another way would be to use something like a Bitstream3X to send multiple CC’s from a single knob or fader, that would definitely do it!
