Live mode: gradual changes over several chained patterns

Hey all, I’m looking for a bit of advice. I have several 4 bar patterns chained together and I want to do a gradual parameter change, for example, a filter sweep. When I am in live mode and doing the sweep with the encoder, I notice that when the pattern changes, the value of the parameter jumps back to the original value of the new pattern.

Is there a way to set things up so that I can make smooth transitions between patterns in live mode?

Hallo !
This is because you’re using a different KIT for the following pattern.
So to avoid parameter-jumps between patterns they have to use the same KIT.

I noticed tonight I tried just changing the filter cutoff for one pattern when in live recording mode. When I play the pattern back the filter sweep is not smooth like it was when I recorded it.
It sounds like the filter is just adjusted at the the note trigs.
Am I doing something wrong here.
The effect it gives is actually pretty cool but not what I expected.

cheers

This is normal as it’s a 64 step CV-sequencer . The parameter-levels are recorded as trigs. The value will be locked at the level youy’ve reached at the beginning of a step. For smooth changes you’ll have to use LFO’s -ENvelope’s - Adjusting levels per step manuallly afterwards OR -Live tweeking.

Parameter slides would also be helpful for this application, check those out in the manual!

thanks gents!
will give it a whirl
