It probably has been over a year since I have posted my work here. The Octatrack has really started to take over. All synths sampled to Octatrack. MD taking care of drums via Octa thru machine.

Any samples being used on the MD or is that all with the synth engine?

No drum samples used. I still haven’t gotten around to loading samples into the MD.

I am having the damnedest time trying to get a nice bass drum like this. I’ve seen a few other good examples of it being done on an MD without a sample but I just can’t seem to get anything close without pumping the low end EQ on my mixer.
