Hi everyone!
Haven’t posted much since I joined as I wanted some mileage on my Digitakt before poking around in here. I’ve used it for about a half a year now. Pretty fun stuff. (Just wishing for that mute/choke groups update…any day now!) While I do use it for it’s intended purpose, I mostly use it as a drum module. I know that’s kinda crazy. But with my setup this was actually the cheapest route considering a real nice module (the kind where you can add your own samples) it’s super pricey, and buying a new laptop is also pricey.
Also I like the fact that I can also make music with it, since i can’t play drums at night. Taking it to work to play during lunch is also a plus.
Anyway, I made a video of my converted drums in action for #Jamuary2019 then decided to make a video for Youtube to resurrect my channel. Forgive the rig run down in the beginning, you can skip to about 1:30 to see the action.
I’ve also expanded/updated my setup about 2 or 3 times since my first post! Enjoy!
