I did not know the term “Live coding” and that this is “a thing”, so on this forum you learn every day.

There’s also Strudel, a JavaScript port of Tidal Cycles that runs entirely in the browser. Could be of interest to users that do not want to deal with setting up a Haskell / Tidal environment. Have not used it personally (Tidal works fine for me), but Strudel seems to be gaining in popularity for live coding.

Some folks do live coding with Csound. Steven Yi is one name I remember.

The “live” aspect is lost in me, but I use Csound and Cabbage to write my own plugins.
