i have the exact same problem!
i have to revive this old threat because i still have that problem and still have no idea how to fix it.
What’s the application and how does it seem buggy, i don’t notice anything !
if you set the lfo to negative sinus wave dest. volume and lets say “sidechain” a pad with it. You can clearly hear a click on every lfo trig.
You need to be much much clearer, i don’t get any clicking with any lfo shape, there is no sin shape btw, what sound is being lfod and what are the params and levels etc
apply these lfo settings to any pad sound that is continuously playing.
Place lfo trigs wherever you want on the track.
PMTR AMP: VOL
WAVE: IEXP (Inverted Exponential Curve)
MULT: 2X
TRIG: TRIG
SPD 127
DEP: 127
in my case it sounds like that.
You can clearly hear the clicking sound when the lfo takes effect.
With the limited source material i have on the OT, this phenomenon just doesn’t sound anywhere near as bad as on your demo, there’s noing unexpected for me, even using inverse square where the change in volume is just as fast and snappy, sounds as i’d expect, i tried on sin waves too and it was not out of the ordinary for such a shape
Strangely, i got a more unexplained click at the conclusion of the rise back up, when the gain was re-established !!
But unless it’s source material specific i’m not seeing this as overly surprising on the material i tested with, i expect there to be some though, will try different material if i find
You could use a user LFO wave and smooth out the drop? Other than that, I have no idea how to lose those clicks.
Resurrecting this ancient thread as I’m having the same issue - did any of you here manage to solve it?
Yes I use parameter slides instead…
