LFO to sample start for looping sample

I’m using a lot of single-cycle waveforms at the moment. I have 64 in a sample so that I can loop any of the the slices. Now I want to modulate the slices.

What works: Each trig can set a new start point via the LFO. Works great for sample and hold or similar.

What doesn’t: modulating the slice while a trig is playing. I was hoping to use the exponential or ramp LFOs to modulate the slices so (for example) it starts on slice 64 and ends up on slice 1.

Is the latter possible?

Not possible. Trigger sample again is needed to change slice in slice mode.

Possible to modulate start with slice mode off.
