Lend us your ears

so do we get more ears today or do they just mean we can go back and listen to the archive again…

Yes, but it has 12 tracks. So, for example, 12 things you can turn on and off separately, 12 LFOs, 12 FX chains, etc. The choke groups are, I imagine, at least partly a way to keep the number of oscillators down.

…surprised to read from people, hearing analog sounds…still…

and overall…what a nice example of this overhyped fake the fake and do the tripple troll world we’ve all created…

if anything’s truu in all these leaking leaks, than the option of 12 engine slots…
sounds reasonable…

but as ess already spotted out on details, something remains wrong here…
so yes, be it as expected, the digi form factor…but it MUST come in silver brushed casing…

either the “Analog and Digital Drum Synthesizer” windows leak is real, or this one, not both. Personally I think the window borders was real and this is clearly a mockup.

edit: it appears this Red button one is real

The mock-up title feels long winded and ridiculous to me, makes more sense that it’s just an “analog and digital synthesizer”. So definitely agree with you on this

That would be my intention, it’s just easier to pull the trigger on a purchase when you feel completely positive about it, there are so many bad things made with m:c it makes me think i would just be trying to make it not sound like what it is and I’m tired of that kind of uphill workflow.

This is the best argument for it not to be fake. If you invest so much time to fake all those typo, then you would at least take the text from supposed existing leaks. Maybe they changed the window text?

Tbh im not impressed with the demo

Ofgs, if it’s another drum machine … yawn

And I don’t think there would be more than two analog voices tbh

With @Ess comment, can we confirm that the Syntakt picture is a mock?

If Elektron think it’s a good idea to plonk new guts into a 5-year old case design i’d be pretty surprised.

The OT case is 8 years old?

Quadrilaterals are forever.

On the flip side, they have no problem putting old guts in a new design.

Don’t you play the game too.

People seem to love the Digis, tho’.

(Personally, I’m hoping for something in the Analog mkii format, but I wouldn’t bet on such a thing appearing soon)

Same here but not because I don’t like the sounds. It’s because the music is mostly just not for me. I’m still highly interested in this device but I’ll have to either get hands on the thing or wait until some makers of music whose music I like get their hands on it.

Yes, it was more generally for everyone on the forum

People have been posting Digitakt mockups of “Syntakt” speculation for the past year, that look very very similar to the one posted on reddit. This one is definitely more particular and varied from the Digitakt, but it’s clearly way easier to mock up than the screen windows. But the reddit post came from a small shop’s site? That seems legit. Jury is out for me

Edit: red button seems real
