ive started learning the harmonica the past couple months and the only times i play are on my five minute walk to and from work and on the playground with the children. i havent gotten crazy good but i significantly improved my ability to isolate notes after just a few days of short practice times. now im learning licks from adam gussow on youtube and i can actually start freestyling off of those licks just from feeling like the next note will work. its activating my brain in a new way too, its a great way to reset on my way to and from work. and it feels really cool developing new muscles in my mouth, thats a trippy post workout feeling.
