Launching a label

Hi All ,

I decided to give it a go and launch a label focused on live performances , meaning a label for people who record straight to 2-track . No fuzz , just catching the raw vibes of the machines .

In a first instance these will be released on digital platforms (Beatport , Juno , … ) but i don’t exclude pressing up some black gold , depending on how this thing evolves …

First release is by myself … did my best mastering these often very dynamic recordings using Bobby Owsinski’s book . Been so consumed by it i can’t tell anymore if it’s good or bad :slight_smile: So your feedback is welcome .

Nice work man, reminds me of those early plasitkman releases… very minimalistic, just how I like it… So good luck :)!

i’ll explain where the title “flipvestje” comes from . It’s roughly translated as “tripjacket” . I was at a techno festival last summer and the weather wasn’t all that good so i pulled out my fluo orange and black lines optical illusion training jacket that i usualy wear for going for a run by night to get noticed by cars . It seemed to have an effect on pill poppers as they were coming up to me to tell me every 5 mins what a crazy “flipvestje” i was wearing . To the point they were asking for selfies etc… :slight_smile:

yup, he is just amazing. I am still angry that I gave away his vinyl records I once bought in this small record shop in cologne :(…
