Launch Control XL and MioXM

Hi fellow nauts :slightly_smiling_face:

After reading many topics here where people are controlling their OT with a Launch Control XL and an iConnectivity Midi 4.

Unfortunately the iConnect4 is not available for purchase anymore and has been succeeded by the iConnectivity MioXM. No problem I thought, they should work the same no?

But with everything I try to do I just can’t get the LCXL to communicate to my other devices. My Keystep is working fine through USB midi port in MioXM going out to various DIN ports so my port routings and midi settings should all be correct.

It almost seems more like a hardware issue (which seems bizarre to me as then the older iConnectivity Midi hubs have more functionality then the more expansive current gen offering) then a settings issue but maybe I am being a fool and missing a crucial setting.

Can anyone with a MioXM and a LCXL confirm they have it working?

So I have no idea what I did different but it finally works.

Maybe it was the twentieth time I tried installing the updated firmware on the LCXL. Didn’t really do anything different in my settings on any of the devices.

At least can confirm the combination works fine.
