Lack of heat / display delay?

In make music in my attic. It’s a wonderful environment without neighbors.
Not here, winter starts. Slowly it’s colder.

I don’t like to warm my house. I prefer to wear more cloths.

But… I have the feeling that I can see the difference on my Rytm screen. Especially when I search for samples, it looks different. When I play for a while, it changes and then it is 100 % normal again.

Can it be the cold in the room? Or do I have to look at something else?
Maybe the Analog Heat will help, but that’s not what I am looking for at the moment. Maybe some kind of blanket…

…brrr but hey, my gear stays warm. :penguin:
I think cold, and more the high humidity, is bad for every electronic device or you must leave it on 24/7.
Cold may also detune your analog oscillators…at least my do.
…(and I’ve got a lot of those)…

I had this occur when I was living up on a ski resort for the winter. All my gear (analog&digital) behaved sluggish until it warmed up for a while. My solution was keeping them in cases and near a heating vent when not in use.
