Does anyone know if there’s a way to send individual tracks to either the L or R output?
for instance-
track 1- L main output
Track 2- R main output
…and then (I’m really chancing my luck) headphone jack as main out for the spare 2 channels?
It would be great for sending both tracks to separate Ableton channels.
Yeah, pan those tracks. Headphones are strictly main, but Overbridge is just around the corner to save you anyway !
It seems like such an obvious solution now I think of it! Thanks so much for replying!
edit: I don’t think I was clear enough in the original post.
Basically, I want to use it like a multi-track
I have 2 drum machines coming in the L & R inputs (both mono)
one drum machine going to track 1
another drum machine going to track 2
AND I’ll have another instrument on track 3 from the AF
Basically, I need to send out 3 different outputs to Ableton.
If I was sending the AF instrument through the headphones, I’m sure the L & R outputs will be mixed in with the headphone audio. I’d end up with the L output in the left of the headphones etc
It’s no problem sending two channels but I’m not sure about the third.
i don’t use that routing, but hopefully assuming the fx are two-channel, you can also have isolated effects too although the levels and settings would be identical for both
Both the outputs and headphone out are shared. You can only pan any track, either from an input or one of the A4 voices to be either Left or Right. - the audio is all combined.
