Korg Wavestation VST

Hey guys,
I’ve always kind of liked the sound of the Wavestation for pads and ambient type sounds and I just realized there’s a VST version available through Korg for about fifty bux.

I’ve never really been much of a softsynth guy but that said, I’be been thinking maybe the Wavestation VST is not a bad way to go since it was a digital synth to begin with and the UI is supposed to be way more user friendly than the original.

I’m curious if any of ya’ll have used both and could give me an idea how the VST stacks up to the original?

I have the VST and it’s great. I used to have an 01V which was like the next M1, so I can some context that way. Basically I’d never want to use a real Wave Station or M1 now that they have the VSTS. You get all the sound cards, thats a LOT! Im sure it would costs thousands to tracks down all those cards. Really worth the 50 bucks. One of the best Synth values you can get I think. Been sleeping on the M1, will grab that eventually. The M1 sound is pretty hot right now.
