Thank you for this. I also bought one of these (similar anyway), but realised the hum is still there, it just appears lower because the overall output becomes lower.
If you then crank the output level to match pre isolator levels the hum is still the same volume, at least in my case. I’ll have a go at changing the cable that came with like you did though and see.
