Korg Multi/Poly

I love your enthusiasm and willingness to get gnarly. Nothing polite about your demos and I’m here for it!

Don’t be so sure. MPC Live can do this, and you can get those used for under $500. Maybe the One can as well, idk. With the recent updates that add a modulation matrix to the keygroup sampler the older models are a really good deal. Downside, it’s pads rather than keys. Upside they’re still very expressive and you can map them to different scales.

Microfreak also generates poly AT. Keyboard is smol and weird but I find it nice to operate. Also has a scale option.

Great workout. I enjoy Loopop videos for the detailed technical overview but find yours a much better guide to how a synth feels to play, because you tend to follow a sound wherever it goes rather than dialing in a preplanned concept and then just doing keyboard licks. Also measuring the time it takes to go from talking about the features to just yelling your approval.

Ok, it is promoting his patchcollection, but nice sounds and he explains a bit how he made them. Great inspiration.

Anyone in the states able to get their hands on the module yet?

Yup. I’ve had mine for about three weeks. Been out of town though, so haven’t used it much.
