Ten years later is between than never. 
Not that I ever really wanted it - was more the principle of it!
Queued to report of Kordbot firmware.
Also early in this video he says he’s getting parts together for a small release of Kordbot hardware. The way he says it, it sounds like it’s a very small number.
Also there will be another video or two on Kordbot, maybe.

The Kordbot is back with its new firmware.
With this nice standard MIDI file chord parsing function, you can pretty quickly deconstruct a song and create the chord favorites that matches up for your use.
