Inspired by @bibenu’s excellent thread, “It should be simple to code,” I’d like to moan about people asking others to make them a video to explain something. The main thing is that a video is a major piece of work. Even if you manage to get it in one take, you still have to record it, work out how to explain something, hold the camera (probably a phone) steady, trim it, upload it… etc. They might say, “Well, it doesn’t have to be good, just point your phone at it.” There’s no way I’m going to …
