Keystep plays fine with DAW, Blofled, but not with Digitakt

When playing notes on DT with keystep, I can only play 4 or 5 octaves right in the middle. The highest couple octaves play nothing, and in the 2nd to lowest, each key in an octave on the keystep plays middle c to one of the DT tracks 1-8.

The keystep plays the full range of all octaves normally when play the blofeld through a DT midi channel. Also plays normally when playing notes in DAW (fl studio).

I’m not sure what I’ve got wrong, and from I’ve read on other threads I’ve got it set up right, ha.

Keystep out into DT in
DT out into Blofeld in
Keystep USB into a hub, then into laptop
Keystep clock set to MIDI
DT set to clock send.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

That’s just how the DT works. It’s letting you play notes in the same range as the Tuning parameter: 4 octaves.
