Hey guys i just go an A4 and have a midi question. Is it possible to send midi from a keystep to a digitone and then through the digitone to the A4? ive done that set up with digitakt and other gear but even though i can trigger the A4 from the digitone and from the keystep when they are directly connected, i can not get the keystep to play the A4 through the digitone
On the DT (and so I presume the DN) you can “forward” midi notes using a midi track. Set the dn default midi in to channel x, keystep out to x, then go to a midi track on the dn, and set midi track channel to default midi channel (or specific track channel) of the A4. Pitch and mod sliders dont go through though.

Lol, for ten zillionth time I forgot to change the midi channel on the midi track itself on the DN not just in the channel configuration.
