Keystep and Digitakt

Ok, ok. Since we are on the subject - how can I control my midi instrument, that is connected to my Digitakt, with the keystep?
Right now I’m getting nothing with my instrument in track 9 midi channel 1, then using my keystep in midi channel 9.

Key step needs to be on the master channel to the digitakt (default is 14) then you need to select the midi track (A-H) that is assigned to the midi channel you trying to send

That’s really a pity. For me this is a huge limitation of the MIDI tracks and MIDI functionality.

It’s great to have the MIDI tracks. Routing via autochannel or direct to the track channels works great and gives a lot of flexibility. But that PB/MW/AT is filtered out and not transfered is really a shame. I would already be happy if it would be transfered. Having it not recorded and not in a high temporal resolution is another thing. Fiddling with the internal settings for PB/MW/AT is really limiting and for playing live not usable.

I second that… I hope this is implemented on a next update, please @Elektron
