Keys & rytm help please

Hi guys,

Noob here trying to connect Keys to Rytm. I think I’ve managed to sort out the midi side of things but I can’t get sound from the Rytm. I’m going from the out puts on the Rytm to the inputs on the Keys with the jacks, master out from Keys to amp and the midi lead between the 2. I can get sound if I go the other way but obviously only 1 input on Rytm so only coming out of 1 speaker. Could you tell me what I’m missing please?

On the A4/Keys select FX track & turn up ext in.
Btw the input on the AR is stereo 1/4 inch TRS.
