Keys input and ot input

After recording most stuff on the OT input

I realized that the sound of the analog keys low end was being crunched and flattend by the ot inputs while being fed straight into it.

but my mixer itself just gave me a clean representation of the sound. just after recording I noticed that the sound was off.

so after reading both the specs of the OT and analog keys I found that the input of the keys has a strong and better signal then the OT has at least my brains tell me this but could be wrong :stuck_out_tongue:

so I changed the order:
the OT is on the input of the keys, it makes no difference in sound coming from the OT
(it just beafs up the OT) and it doesnt push or press the sound quality at all
now my problem is that I loose some ability to sample the keys within the OT
keys tracks or stereo main out is just to much for the OT to handle I guess

so anyone have any ideas How I could achieve a round up in achieving a live recording with all sounds from mixer going in to the ot but not crunching the sound

must say keys volume out is on 100% sound great on the mixer but sound crappy on OT so how to adjusted?

thanks
