I have MachineDrum, OctaTrack, Analog Four and Analog Rytm.
How i can preserve the factory library and clear all the other things for each machine ?
1/ Start a new project, name it and Load it
2/ Clear all one by one (is there a way to clear all banks of patterns at once)
3/ Format +Drive, Boot Reset Factory, Boot Reset EMPTY
? Better idea ?

are you familiar with the 2 concepts of empty reset and factory resets?

i think empty reset is not the same as factory reset … factory reset would kill everything including samples, sets, patterns AND the OS … empty reset is not that intensive… consult manual for this one … just pointing out there are 2 different ones, ( 1 includes the other ) quickly check the manual, dont hold me responsible when you delete all your saved important stuff 
I think there’s no other way for kept the sound pool and kits in generic preset project, to clear all things one by one.
Reset Empty is the more brutal reset, it’s empty the machine
Reset Factory is reset but it will reinstall (unpacking) the Factory Preset/Kits/patterns…
In any case the slot 1 is for preset. We need to go in slot 2
Hi, I have a problem on my AR, the BD pad is frozen and doesn’t respond to any punch…I’m trying to do like you are saying here,to reset my AR, but I’m scared in about loosing my all project.
I’m doing this to be sure to don’t loose anything that I made…
I have saved the WHOLE PROJECT using the C6 and I have imported it in a new project to see the result…
In the Sample Ram everything is been copied (SAMPLES),
but not SOUND,KITS, and any PATTERN are there…
now I’m trying to save…
but the rytm tells me “COMPLETE !”
Any help please in how to save sound,kits and patter? so I can format my AR and than send everithing as it is, in a new project…
