I usually deactivated the VEL on my AR for all pads, but this time i did not and i explored a new territory.
i defined the four meta-parameters and the intensity it should affect those in relation to the incoming velocity-signal. So far so good! Now i added the slide-trigs in a fashion i’v liked and got some sort of sequencer-LFO with four destinations.
the velocity-values on each step defines the LFO-curve! That’s great!
I don’t know if anyone is using this technique. just sharing it

Unless I am very much mistaken, I think it’s a bit misleading to suggest this sliding is tied to the velocity … i’d be well excited if I was wrong, but my understanding is that sliding only works on sound parameters that are locked on the sequencer
velocity is not a sound parameter per se, the sliding doesn’t affect parameters directly linked to velocity (say you had a velo mod on sample pitch, even though velocity is locked on the sequence it will not slide the pitch which could be slid if you directly locked the pitch) … secondly, even if you tie an LFO parameter to the velocity, even depth or rate, it will not slide those parameters affected by the LFO - sliding only affects sound parameters (some) that are parameter locked and that are different on the neighbouring trig … not really tied to velocity at all
as for all the fun you can have with velocity mod, there’s still massive flexibility
happy to be incorrect here and learn otherwise
