I also think this is a good approach if you can afford it and don’t want to keep the stuff you’re selling anyways!
yeah i used to get more stressed about it but a friend said to me ‘why? its just a hobby’ and now i look forward to trying new gear and seeing if it fits - still loving the digitakt and rytm, getting bored of machinedrum and a4 and opz, enjoying the cheap little donner bass synth, life is good i feel like a lucky punk
+1 for the OB6. It just feels like home for me when playing it.
so I got the juno today and it sounds great
I’ll keep the a4mk1 and as1 for different flavours
no ob6…not yet anyway…
Congrats! The 106 is great!
thank you, its a nice feeling keybed, better than the mc202!
Note to self to try sequencing the Juno-60 alongside / with the A4 via both midi for notes and CV / gate for the filter.
juno 106 has. no seq or arp, not sure how to do all of that, I haven’t even managed to send cv from a4 in. three years of ownership…best did was din sync to mc202
You owe us a picture after all of this talking here . Enjoy your Juno!
its weirdly big compared to the only other keyboard I ever had which was the korg poly 800, it sounds so much better than that korg
thanks
Yes indeed, but you can use several midi tracks. Especially to map and plock several CCs.
I like to sequence 4-voice chords or even just an arp and have voices left to jam on top.
I use the DN when I need to sequence larger chords…
Thanks, it’s such a beautiful design! Weird how small the control panel really is though, considering the overall size of the synth!
Elektron Digis fit snugly in the empty spaces on the panel.
they do! I had a DN sitting on one end and used the 106 keyboard to play it for a couple years.
thanks for the tip I’ll put my dt there
I keep a row of Volcas along the top of my Juno-60, but the 106 looks like it has a much better area for putting things on.
Nice!
106 into fx into Syntakt (for sequencing and more fx) is also lush.
so glad i got this juno, it really has no bad sounds, and can get crazy if needs be, not surprised by its popularity - i suppose the danger now is that i’ll make music that sounds like everyone else…but who cares if i’m happy!
ok so I sold the juno…probably will stick with a4 mk1 and cycles for chords and pads
