Juno 106 filter stepping when connected via midi

Hello Elektronauts,

I have a little problem and I was wondering if anyone can help me out.

I just got a Juno 106 and I really like it, but I have a problem.
When I connect it via midi to my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 (1st gen) I can hear very (very) noticeable filter stepping.

Midi input causes no trouble, but midi output does. I am using Ableton 10 and this happens when I turn “Track” on for the Focusrite in Ableton’s midi output settings.
Filter stepping doesn’t happen if I unplug the midi cables.
Filter stepping doesn’t happen if I use the bender (even while midi in and out are connected and enabled).

Is this a normal behaviour? Am I missing something?

Well this is embarrassing, I should have read the manual!
it was the midi function switch at the back. I had it on 3.
Setting it to 2 solved it.

Useful information thanks, i have no juno 106, had 60 and sold it, if i ever got another poly , it will be juno 106, there is nothing like this filters with intervals coming trough !
