I’m new to the A4 party as well, and while it is mid-priced, I feel it’s incredible value considering it can act as 4 independent analogue mono synths, 1 four voice poly, or any voice combination of that. Plus when you add sound locks the potential is crazy out of one box.
Independant outs for each voice like on the AK would of course be great, but I feel I can manage with all voices being on one channel until I want to commit to mixing, then I can record each voice separately.
There’s something about being ‘forced’ into focusing on composition first rather that mixing I like coming from the temptations and distractions of DAWs and plugins.
