Yesss I fucking move jamuary! You all are the best! It might be the one gummy of indica and one gummy of sativa talking but I think this came out dope as hell, which was unexpected. I started trying to make something like this solo on the digitone 2, which helped me to realize how shit I am at using the Digitone 2 lol, soI was like fuck it I’m just going to do something low stakes on the ipad. I was thinking about how I super didnt like my first jamuary piece last year which probably helped motivate me a little, and I was like maybe jamuary is like making pancakes. It wasnt til this was almost done that I was like wait actually maybe this is great? Idk we’ll find out in the morning, the important thing is that I’m doing it and you’re doing it and we are the best!

OK I was meant to cease music due to upcoming work pressures buuuut jamuary has caught me so whatever—let’s give it a go!
Here is my goal for jamuary: coincidentally I recorded the midi of a few songs/patterns from my op-z to mc101, total about 8 songs/patterns. I’ll use jamuary mainly for sound design, drums, and adding any extra parts. I doubt I’ll jam every day, but if I grab 30 mins here or there and make progress with fleshing things out and having fun, I’ll be happy. Feedback welcome!

Didn’t think I’d have something today, but the idea of missing it kept bothering me.
Synths are Zebra 3 and Pigments. Drums are a combo of Live kits and 2 sliced/resampled drum loops from Splice.

This was reminding me of Korg Funk 5 by Aphex Twin. Great sounds, and the different sections really let the track breathe!
@Affectionate-Bee-781 beautiful ambient guitar. The bit between 49s-1m had this lovely tension/resolution, and whatever sound you’re using as a click is well chosen
@NVVI great atmosphere! The dusty drums sound great, and the singing adds so much! There’s a cinematic quality to this track
@elxsound so cohesive! I love how the synths play with the drum fills at the end. The synths have this glistening quality to them that is wonderful to listen to
