James Orvis' Elektron Tips, Tricks & Downloads Thread

Hey everyone!

I was flagged last year for posting tutorials as separate threads, admin said this would be better.
In this thread I will post tutorials, tips & tricks, courses and downloads relating to the Syntakt.

I will kick things off with this tutorial on how to set up a Faderfox PC4 with the Syntakt so you can access two performance Macro’s per track!

Enjoy! Any questions or tutorial requests drop me a message

Update 1.10 Deep dive is now up for those needing a comprehensive tutorial covering all the update features as some you have to dip into the manual to fully grasp. Love this update, its added some much needed workflow boosts, particularly happy about track swap, personalise options, comb+, filter and drive routing and load kit to all empty patterns is something ive wanted for over 10 years!

Some more tips and tricks when it comes to designing synths on Digitakt II with Single Cycle waveforms

Nice to hear someone else use the term ‘endless oscillator’. I’m obsessed with making tunable oscillators, albeit not from single cycle waveforms, so this is relevant to my interests.

Using a sampler as a synthesiser is the best! Using the samplers’s envelopes, filters, modulators and effects to bring endless oscillators to life… Divine!
