I finally had some time available and made an EP, mostly with the Octatrack.
I set rules to start a new track on five consecutive days, trying to get at least 48 bars done for each, to avoid getting too caught up with a single track. Later I recored the individual tracks into the computer and spend another day polishing/finishing for each.
The toughest part that I was not prepared for was decent mixing and mastering! I spend more than a week, making baby steps and learned things that are most likely common knowledge to most of you, doh!
