Hey! I just released a brand new soundbank for Elektron Analog Four / Keys. If you like ambient, leftfield, artists like Boards of Canada or AFX, you’ll probably like it I’ve been working on these 128 patches for eight months and I can finally announce the release
Below is a 1.5-hour demo video with visuals. There was no post-production involved – put on your headphones and check out the direct sound from Analog Four
Funny that you used that plane clip in this. I bought your patches for the Novation Peak (actually, your patches made me get the Peak!) and then I made this clip with them, and using the same video as you did on this Analog 4 one:
This is amazing work! I’ve gotten so much use out of your soundbank for the REV2 and now I really regret selling my A4 MKI, probably need to go out and buy it again! Btw are you planning on a soundbank for the Digitone/Digitone 2?
However… when I drag/drop them onto my A4 they do not load in the same order as you have them. For example, ‘001-SOFT-PLUCKS’ ends up loading into KIT SLOT 44.
I used Transfer App to send them over and tried both doing this via the main SYX file and also the individual SYX files.
I had no luck transferring using Elektron Transfer or Sysex librarian (using system menu sysex dump and selecting bank).
They are not visible for me from the Transfer left hand side file viewer (computer). Drag-drop does show them on the bottom Transfer panel but then what?
I created a new Project and then connected my A4 via Transfer. After that I dragged them into Transfer and they were sent over. After that if I open KIT I can see them all (though not in order).
The .afsnd files worked as expected, thanks. Word of warning to others - be careful dragging the sysex files into transfer. Not sure what I did but I ruined all tracks in my current project. Looks like it overwrote all sounds in those kits and I hadn’t backed it up in several weeks and I lost a lot of work. Backup first!
