It is dumb to leave my AR idle for too long?

I have MKII and the screen turns off when left idle long enough.

Eh, every so often I’ll be working out a pattern or guitar riff that’s just terrible and start to wonder how many CCs of natural gas had to be pulled out of the ground through dirty extraction and then burned into CO2 just so I could blow the turnaround on “Astro Zombies” for the 12th time in a row.
