I’m having problems sending SYSEX files to my A4. I setup C6 with a file, I set the A4 to receive and it displays
Waiting…
So I hit send on C6 and it says so many bytes sent. On the A4 it is still displaying Waiting… and nothing seems to happen. If I hit No, the bank was never loaded.
What am I doing wrong?
I can send SYSEX files from the A4, one by one for each kit.
OK, I was sending a sound to a bank in +Drive - that won’t work. If I send a sound to a slot in the sound pool, then it works.
Hi I am having the same problem. I was sending new sounds to my A4 directly to the +Drive, which should work by the way.
The first two sets of sounds were send correctly to Banks I and J and are now functional. Then I tried to send the new Synchrotron.syx pack to Bank K on my A4 and nothing happened. I did not change any setting in the mean time.
C6 shows a connection with the A4 and shows it is sending files.
I have the feeling it is a C6 problem. I restarted both A4 and MacBook a couple of times and even reinstalled C6. Nothing so far.
I did not try sending it to the sound pool yet because I want the sound on the +Drive.
Are you on the latest OS version?
Cause everytime a new soundset comes out, a few people seem to have problems, and that’s often the solution…

I just had the same problem. A4 was in Receive mode and nothing happened. (A4 connected to computer via USB cable and clicked on “send”) I found out, that as soon as I unplugged my keyboard from my computer, it worked. Don’t know why the A4 does not receive while the keyboard is still connected but unplugging solves the problem.

Thanks for your responses. I am running in OS 1.12B and I had no keyboard connected.
I will try updating to OS 1.12E because it seems to have midi/usb bug fixes.
