You have per track overdrive though. Are they different algos?
Not sure how different they are but you can never have enough and one that affects multiple tracks is good.

track overdrive is before send fx, master overdrive after, that makes a difference.

I reduced my setup to one box (previously octatrack+digitone2), and the winner is the digitone2.
I just love to dial in my sounds, it’s kind of a meditation and coming down from stress for me.
The only thing i wished it had too: the vowel (or perhaps more?) machine like on monomachine. That thing I loved on my monomachine I sold years ago. The bbox with original samples was funky too. But I wouldnt buy a monomachine again, even for a good price. Don’t want to handle ageing electronics and hope for repairability in the long run.
